We were delighted so many deserving entries from our Mother's Day competition on The Avenue this weekend. We had tough time choosing from all the lovely comments, but we're pleased to announce the winners of these gorgeous designer prizes:
Judith Watson, Denton, won the Mulberry Pouch and Coin Purse. Judith was nominated by her daughter, who explained, "Mum brought me and my brother up on her own since I was 6 when my father died suddenly. We have never gone without anything and learnt the true values of life".
Christine James, Birmingham, won £100 worth of Flannels vouchers. Christine's son told us that, "She has just recovered from cancer and never complained. She carried on as normal and stayed positive and still did everything for me and the family".
